Olin
Olin
A Kansan by birth, Chicagoan by privilege, Olin has been quietly offering up his unique take on dance music for more than a decade. With several recent releases on respected labels such as Argot, Discovery, God Particle, Night Owl Diner, Detour, and g~~g~~~g, Olin has cast a wide net with his productions, which range from deep techno to italo disco. Additionally, in late 2016 he launched his own label, Boundary Monument, which aims to capture the various intersections of his sundry taste. His DJ sets offer the same dynamic variety and are often long-haul, cross-genre affairs. He is the booker and a resident DJ at Chicago institution, smartbar.
Beaner
Beaner
Beaner is a master at losing mobile phones and staying awake for long periods of time without the aid of stimulants. He enjoys masturbation, difficulty, overcoming odds, and tear-jerking finales. Together with C.L.A.W.S. he is WarVsSleep and is one third of supergroup the 3 Good Doctors with Agaric and Ed Davenport.

Born in the depths of a Tajikistan prison, to a priest and a prisoner, Beaners life was never meant to be lived. One botched abortion later, screams and cries were heard round the world. A star is born! Raised later by wolves and the Jim Jones Peoples Temple he heard the calling through howls and shared cult hymns. Its MUSIC time!!! (not unlike the kool-aid man bursting through the walls). The Circus- San Francisco. The Generator- London. The Vieux Port- Marsielles. The Tufts Campus Arts House- Boston. The ABC No Rio- New York. The Gutter- Seattle. All just stops on the rollercoaster ride to Berlin. And Wildly Unchecked Success! A Residency at Bar25 (the studio 54 of the sexting generation) and releases on a smattering of recording labels followed. And the world cooed, like a dirty, dirty bitch. 2012 will bring the launch of anarcho-situationist cult-label-brigade "La Mission". The stars will melt and we will drink them from our cups. Revolución!
Solar
Solar
When Solar began Djing in the early 90’s, San Francisco’s Clubs and Raves were places where musically, anything could happen. To be a DJ in this time and place meant having a fierce dedication to the craft of creating electrifying music for people to dance all night. A deep record collection and bold creativity were what people valued in the Djs they would go hear every weekend.

In 1994, Solar and a couple other Djs began bringing a sound system and a generator to the Berkeley Marina for free gatherings to dance and watch the sun set behind the San Francisco skyline. As these Sunset parties grew from dozens to hundreds, and now thousands of attendees, Solar become one San Francisco’s best loved DJs. Known for his eclectic sets, blending Techno, Disco, House, Electro and electronic music with the energy of Punk and Psychedelic Rock, Solar has built a loyal following among a discerning crowd of dancers and party goers used to hearing every touring DJ you’ve ever heard of. Nearly twenty years of playing music for crowds large and small has evolved a style of Djing that seamlessly fuses the best of classic and modern dance music. More recently as resident and co-creator of the No Way Back parties, Solar has earned the reputation of a DJ devoted to the art of mixing and selecting music without regard to ephemeral fashion, trends or fads.

Jimmy B
Jimmy B
Jimmy B has been acclaimed amongst the finest DJs in the everlasting underground scene of the Bay Area. As a Bay Area resident growing up in the 80s, Jimmy was fortunate to be influenced by a diverse array of culture, especially In the late 90s when he was introduced to various forms of underground music around the post west coast rave scene.

As years went by the massive rave culture diminished, politics and new regulations pushed things underground into warehouses, lofts and intimate outdoor gatherings. This is when Jimmy and his creative friends really became intrigued and manifested their own party crew under the name RXFX. They spent much of their time organizing events catering to vibe-driven underground house music.

Between throwing warehouse parties in Santa Cruz, he and his friends would travel up to San Francisco and frequent the Green Gorilla Lounge, Sunset Soundsystem, DHP and Slide undergrounds. They would also hit up The Velvet Shop on Thursdays in San Jose. It was during these formative years and events that led to Jimmy’s first gigs at small gatherings and later moving into nights at local Santa Cruz venues including The Blue Lagoon, Margaritaville, 418 Project and The Catalyst.

During college, while attending the Green Gorilla and Velvet Shop parties, Jimmy befriended DJ M3 and Anthony Mansfield and they shortly took the SF newbie under their wings, getting him involved as a resident with the legendary Green Gorilla Crew. The nights of quality house music and morning grooves continued mostly in the form of Green Gorilla loft and warehouse parties. Later DJ M3 acquired The Triple Crown where the Green Gorilla Crew DJ'd frequently for three years before its close and subsequently led to the opening of Monarch where the crew continues to share magical evenings of solid house music.

Jimmy continues to be a strong supporter of the SF Bay underground, his events and DJ sets continue to hit the ears of hungry underground house fans. He has co-founded System and his own event VOX. He tours several times a year spreading the good word of west coast underground house, all while continuing to contribute to Green Gorilla Lounge and their Burning Man travels with the Disco Knights. Jimmy’s recent WERD residency at Monarch showcases weekly vibe-laden guest alongside co-residents DJ Kimmy Le Funk, Zoz, Nick Williams, Rachel Torro and Woo. It's no secret that Jimmy has his finger on the pulse of SF underground dance music.
Zoz
Zoz
Evan McDonnell prefers the Zoz approach to DJing. His sound is unbeholden to genre or tempo, with attention to detail while embracing formlessness. Zoz is known as a resident and promoter of the long running WERD parties in San Francisco. With Renzo Gorrio, he creates discoid mutations hinting at a submerged funk under the moniker Soft and Crispy. On his own, Zoz crafts shipwrecked sounds found over the dunes after beaching your sailboat on a faraway island. Always bringing unique concepts to a set, Zoz delivers equal parts depth and elevation.
