Patricio
Patricio
The energy level always rises when Patricio steps behind the tables. Drawing on the passion and soul instilled in him growing up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Patricio will make you dance with no holds barred.

Patricio came to Los Angeles in the late 80's, and immediately discovered electronic music. He spent a year of letting loose to the music that was being played at local underground clubs and parties. It was then he encountered his new found passion. It was his desire to make people let loose and dance uncontrollably while expressing what he himself was feeling musically that caused Patricio to officially become a beat junkie.

Once Patricio had amassed enough vinyl he began to make the underground club circuit, starting in 1992 at a Los Angeles popular after hours gig called Cafiend where he was playing with one of his favorite djs, DJ Dan, on Saturdays and was one of the original djs at Insomniac on Fridays all while sharpening his skills with wax.
It is at this point that Patricio met LABA founder Oscure, they forged a great friendship though music and have been playing and collaborating on music ever since.

Patricio's experience in the early 90s behind the decks converted into a profound knowledge of what people want on the dance floor, a trait still ingrained in him today.
He has shared the stage with numerous internationally acclaimed DJs while making his way through the California electronic music scene.

During the late nineties Patricio went on a self-imposed hiatus to focus on his Graphic Arts career. (He has designed main title sequences for numerous motion pictures and has worked on a slew of television shows as well as music videos for 50 cent, Justin Timberlake, Snoop Dogg and many others.)
Ultimately, Patricio realized that he could not be away from what he loved most, his music.

A major turning point occurred in 2002 when Patricio made his first pilgrimage to Black Rock City, Nevada for Burning Man. Truly inspired by this experience, Patricio decided to take his music in a direction that reflected his new found connection.
As he developed his new style, drawing influence from a wealth of musical genres, Patricio went on to tour the world with The Dolab, an artist collective from Los Angeles.

From Argentina to Japan, he has rocked dancefloors with djs like Stanton Warriors, Koma and Bones, Lee Burridge, Thievery Corporation, Layo and Bushwacka just to name a few, and rattled a few bass bins in festivals like Coachella, Nocturnal, All Points West and the infamous Electric Daisy Carnival.

While continuing to expand and experiment with sound as a dj, Patricio is currently submerged in the studio working on his next project.
Martin Aquino
Martin Aquino
Originally hailing from Manila, Philippines and now firmly rooted in San Francisco, Martin Aquino is an exciting new name on the scene who is making waves with his underground, deep tech-house sound. It was in Manila, as a teenager, that Martin first encountered house music and developed his love for the genre. By the age of 17, Martin was regularly playing at renowned venues within the cities of Makati and Manila.

Martin soon found himself traveling back-and-forth between Manila and San Francisco. It was on the US west coast that he became familiar and fascinated with the bay area’s brand of deep house. Martin’s sound evolved to include this influence which he brought back to the Philippines through his in-demand DJ sets. Soon Martin made the plunge and relocated to San Francisco where he could play, produce, and thrive in the heart of its world famous dance music scene.

Martin’s obsession with the music and his sound naturally led to music production. Since 2011, he’s already recorded well-received singles for labels like Resopal Schallware, One Records, and District Raw. Martin’s production, while riding the border between house and techno, keeps a leg deep in the sound of the underground. He strives for music that is organic and eclectic while still rawly effective in the nightclub.
Benjamin K
Benjamin K
It’s a booty shakin sort of a thing.

A small town boy at heart, Benjamin was born and raised in Colorado, graduating from college in the small mountain town Durango, CO. With influences of everyone from Sasha to Prince, Whitney Houston to Tale of Us his sound is best described with two words...lust and love. After making a name for himself behind the decks, playing alongside heavy hitters the world over, and working to throw and host absurd theme parties that were consistently sold out and ample amounts of strange…..he decided it was time to pursue the life of happiness for real, packed his bags, quit his career teaching, and moved out to San Francisco. Now with just three years under his belt in the city, he’s been able to pick up where he left off….and then some. Creating a monthly in the city called ‘You’re Welcome’, bringing in some old and new favorites from all across the underground, and all across the world, has catapulted him to a consistent name stay in the SF underground. It’s begun, but you’ve only just seen the tip…
